THE JOB: As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for setting the stage for an excellent guest experience by greeting guests during their time at our property and providing an outstanding level of guest services. THE STARTING RATE: $20.00 THE DAY-TO-DAY: Greet and engage with guests, smiling, and hearing their stories as you interact with our guests Ensure guest safety by rendering appropriate first aid to injured persons and following established protocol for reporting injuries Enjoy working while being a part of our amazing team and interact with guests from all over the world Being the highlight of our guests’ experience while taking in all that MGM Resorts Properties have to offer THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Has at least 1 year of customer service experience in previous roles. Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience Previous experience working in a similar resort setting Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve them with a positive outcome. Providing a high level of service when our guest needs it the most. Emphasis on good character while performing their day-to-day responsibilities. Detail-orientated and able to make sound decisions in stressful situations with the support of leadership. Can handle multiple tasks at one time. Being able to work closely with others.
