As part of our culinary team, you will contribute a fresh approach to fast-casual dining, crafting locally and globally inspired dishes from all-natural chicken wings and classic Coney dogs to authentic Mexican burritos, tempting Asian noodles, and delicious NY-style pizza. In this exciting role, you will assist in managing kitchen operations, supporting the head chef while ensuring top-notch food quality and customer satisfaction. THE DAY-TO-DAY: Oversee product consistency and make necessary modifications according to business needs Multifaceted decision making in collaboration with the Chef and Department Executives, including but not limited to proper ordering, guest assistance, and working with the front of the house Manage employee payroll, scheduling, training, and discipline Conduct training for Master cooks, cooks, pantry workers, helpers and kitchen workers on job responsibilities Assist Executive Room Chef by controlling food and labor costs, establish goals, and objectives that focus on profit, product and people Assist in overseeing kitchen-related activities pertaining to the normal operation of the restaurant, menu and staff Create, read, measure and execute recipes and new daily specials THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Possess a culinary associate's degree or equivalent work experience preferred Two years of similar food and beverage, chef, and cooking experience Ability to work a varied shift to includ
